NYX Extra Creamy Round Lipsticks Collection

I know I haven't been writing reviews and I am really sorry about that. I don't want to give up on this blog and I am pretty sure there could be so much more things I could review.

So I have been a NYX lover since I first discovered them in high school. Now I never was the big make up girl back then, but I did wear some minimal make up and was never caught dead without a gloss or a little black eyeliner and sometimes if I felt daring a little eye shadow. Nothing to showy at the time, but I loved lip gloss.

My first experience with NYX was with the Mega shine Lip Gloss in Crystal Soda (LG153) It was a pretty light pink gloss and I loved it. I wore it all the time. But this review isn't about Mega shine Lip Gloss. Just a little history on my experience with NYX. That was way back in 2007 around then. Maybe?

This review is about NYX Round Lipsticks. Sort of a little collection of the ones I have at the moment. I own at this moment a total of 7. I will list the colors in a moment but let me talk about how they feel.

The formula is creamy and they don't leave the lips feeling dry so that's a check. They really just glide on the lips like butter so I have no complaints. The lipsticks have different finishes.

They're really affordable at only $4 which is a steal, and sometimes even cheaper when NYX is having a sale on their website. That's always a great time to buy their products.

The finishes are:
Frost
Cream
Pearl
Satin

Now for the colors I own:
Haute Melon (LSS583A) Bright Coral and it's a Cream

Peach Bellini (LSS593A) Glittery Coral It's a pearl. It's similar to Haute Melon just with light sparkles in it.

Femme (LSS643) Bright Pink red it's a cream. I realized that these three looked the same. I will label them for comparison.

Louisiana (LSS634) Bright Strawberry pink Cream

Doll (LSS635) Plum Cream

Fig (LSS640) Dark Neutral Pink Cream

Electra (LSS513) True Red Cream

I own mostly creams so I can't do a review on Satin or Frost finish, but I do own the one pearl finish. The creams are great and the colors are vibrant. To get the best use it's better to put on two or more coats for true color potency. On deeper colors one coat show tons of pigment. With lighter one it varies and may need two or more coats.

Overall I love these lip rounds. I will have to purchase a frost and a satin to complete these review.

One con I did find with the pearl finish lipstick, which is the Peach Bellini. due to it have little sparkles in it I found that it was a bit rough on my lips when I applied it. It wasn't something to say alarming, but for someone with sensitive lips I wouldn't recommend that one. I recommend the cream ones. They are so soft on the lips.

Well I hope you enjoyed my review and swatches. I hope to be reviewing more products for you and hopefully you'll get some insight to colors.

I might be doing a ELF review soon. Eyes Lips Face. I hauled a lot of them recently and I am eager to share. Let me know If your interested and what you would like for me to review next. =)
